Lulu Guinness introduces a new limited-edition capsule collection created in collaboration with celebrated British artist and print designer Emma Shipley. Bringing together Shipley’s intricately hand drawn illustrations with Lulu Guinness’ signature sense of humour and playful glamour, the collection explores a fantastical world of exotic creatures, jewel-toned colour and whimsical craftsmanship.
Lulu Guinness says: “Emma’s work has this extraordinary ability to transport you somewhere else entirely. There’s humour, glamour and a sense of discovery in every print, which felt completely aligned with the spirit of Lulu Guinness. We wanted the collection to feel joyful, collectible and full of personality.”
About the collaboration, Emma says: “It was a very natural fit. We have a shared passion for colour, textiles and whimsical details. Combining my hand-drawn designs with Lulu’s beautifully crafted bags has created a collection that feels like a combination of both our worlds.”
The collection balances artistry with functionality, with travel-ready recycled nylon pieces Pam, Millie, Macy and Noah featuring the fantastical prints. Vibrant colours, surreal creatures and intricate detailing sit alongside Lulu Guinness’ distinct silhouettes and playful approach to accessories. “There’s a wonderful mix of sophistication and playfulness in both our worlds,” adds Emma. “I genuinely believe joy is a legitimate design intention. Accessories should make you smile.”
The collection is launching this month, with pricing ranging from £95 – £245.
