Vale do Lobo looks to the future

A new brand identity is gaining attention in Vale do Lobo, ensuring the Algarve resort builds on its reputation and attracts generations to come.

The Algarve’s legendary Vale do Lobo resort has been delighting holidaymakers, golfers and property owners since 1962. Now, under the guidance of owner and operator Kronos Homes, the prestigious resort has revealed a fresh brand identity.

Kronos Homes’ Real Estate Director Alda Filipe reveals that it was those using the resort who inspired the direction of the new brand: “Many families have been visiting Vale do Lobo for generations. We wanted to respect that heritage and build on it, ensuring the resort grows and evolves alongside those who love it.”

Vale do Lobo is now inviting a new generation of holidaymakers and homeowners to “create their own traditions” in its 450 hectares of landscaped grounds in the central Algarve, Portugal. The resort enjoys an outstanding natural setting, fronting two kilometres of uninterrupted beachfront and the beautiful canals, islands, marshlands and beaches of the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

The location – along with the Algarve’s bountiful sunshine – supports a range of outdoor pursuits. Vale do Lobo is known for its two championship 18-hole golf courses, which attract players from around the world.

Guests can also play tennis and padel, swim in the resort’s pools and relax over a meal and a glass of wine at one of the many superb restaurants. Blending health, wellness and relaxation, other facilities range from a fully equipped Fitness Centre to the Royal Spa: a haven of tranquillity offering a selection of indulgent treatments.

Upping the offering

Vale do Lobo has also revisited its property offering. Growing over the decades to accommodate around 1,500 homes, the resort is now making a select few land plots and stylishly refurbished Golf Residences available. A new off-plan mixed real estate product will follow soon, providing a property offering the like of which has not been seen in decades.

The rebrand has seen two new Vale do Lobo-managed restaurants (Doce and Tinto) open this summer, as well as a new golf shop, padel courts, and the refurbishing of the Tennis Academy. Further changes will follow, Managing Director Eduardo Johnston da Silva explains:

“With plans already in motion and significant investments underway, soon to be realised through new amenities and real estate projects, we are setting a new standard for achievement. The renewed image elevates the resort brand while honouring its rich history and longevity. The resort’s timeless appeal will ensure that future generations of discerning holidaymakers and property owners can create their own traditions here.”
