Salon Privé: Motoring’s grandest invitation

Back for its 21st year, Salon Privé returns to Blenheim Palace, where discerning collectors and refined hospitality unite in a celebration of automotive elegance

Few events combine automotive excellence and luxury lifestyle with the elegance and scale of Salon Privé. Returning to the magnificent grounds of Blenheim Palace from 2–6 September 2026, the prestigious concours event once again promises five days of exceptional cars, refined hospitality and a world-class social occasion.

Now in its 21st year, Salon Privé has firmly established itself as one of the highlights of the British luxury calendar, attracting collectors, enthusiasts and high-net-worth audiences from around the world. Set against the backdrop of Blenheim Palace, the UNESCO World Heritage Site and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, the event blends the atmosphere of a classic English garden party with the glamour and exclusivity of a leading international concours.

What continues to distinguish Salon Privé is its ability to balance heritage with contemporary luxury. Visitors can move seamlessly between meticulously restored classics, modern hypercars, luxury retail experiences and fine dining, all within one of the country’s most visually striking settings.

One of Europe’s most exciting concours

At the heart of the event is the acclaimed Salon Privé Concours by Aviva Private Clients, regarded as one of Europe’s most exciting concours. An international judging panel will assess some of the world’s most exceptional collector cars, many making their UK debut. The Salon Privé Concours will present a carefully curated collection of classes celebrating the breadth of automotive design and engineering across more than a century of motoring history. From The Golden Age of Motoring and Pre-war Sports to Grand Tourers, Sports Racers and Passione Ferrari, the 2026 Concours reflects both heritage and craftsmanship at the highest level.

Reflecting the evolving tastes of today’s collectors, Salon Privé will also introduce two contemporary new classes, Limited Production Supercars covering 1996–2026, and Hypercar Heaven which looks at the period between 2005–2025, bringing modern performance and rarity into the heart of the concours field.

Beyond the incredible cars

Beyond the concours lawns, Salon Privé continues to expand its wider luxury lifestyle offering. The event’s curated retail village will once again feature premium brands spanning jewellery, fashion, craftsmanship and luxury goods, creating an experience that extends far beyond the automotive world.

Hospitality remains central to the Salon Privé experience, with guests enjoying Pommery Champagne receptions, fine dining and beautifully appointed hospitality spaces overlooking the palace grounds. Whether attending for a single day or as part of a full VIP experience, visitors are immersed in an atmosphere of effortless sophistication.

Each day of the five-day programme brings a distinct character. The opening Salon Privé Concours days focus on automotive artistry and elegant judging parades, while Friday’s Ladies’ Day by Boodles transforms the palace lawns into one of the season’s most stylish social occasions. The celebrated Best Hat Competition returns alongside displays of supercars, hypercars and luxury brands, blending fashion and performance in signature Salon Privé style.

The weekend introduces a more energetic atmosphere with the Salon Privé Club Trophy presented by Lockton, bringing together more than 1,500 privately owned sports, super and hypercars for a vibrant celebration of automotive passion. Dynamic displays, enthusiast gatherings and live presentations create a lively festival atmosphere while maintaining the event’s signature sense of luxury and exclusivity.

Salon Privé concludes with Supercar Sunday and Lifestyle Clubs Day, which returns following a successful debut. Alongside displays from leading supercar and lifestyle clubs, guests can also enjoy the Concours de Vente, featuring exceptional classic cars offered for sale by leading specialists.

What makes Salon Privé particularly compelling is its broader sense of occasion. This is not simply an automotive exhibition, but an immersive luxury event where craftsmanship, design, hospitality and social experience come together seamlessly. From the grandeur of Blenheim Palace itself to the carefully curated automotive displays and luxury partnerships, every detail is designed to create an atmosphere of exclusivity without formality.

For collectors, enthusiasts and luxury audiences alike, Salon Privé 2026 promises another unforgettable celebration of automotive culture and contemporary luxury living.
