KX, the private members’ health club, is embarking on an impressive expansion and redevelopment of its home in Chelsea, marking the most significant evolution of the Club since launching in 2002.
The forthcoming work represents a significant investment in the future of the Club and in the experience of its members. With work scheduled to begin this summer, the redevelopment will expand the Club’s existing footprint by 45%. The first area set for expansion and refurbishment is an entirely reimagined gym space, featuring increased natural light, a larger training floor and dedicated personal training zones. The changes will further enhance the Club’s world-class wellness environment, marking the beginning of an ambitious new chapter for KX.
Additional areas of redevelopment include:
- Beautifully redesigned changing rooms with new plunge pools, saunas, steam rooms and relaxation areas
- 12 new spa treatment rooms
- A new three-stage mud therapy journey
- A state-of-the-art communal aquatic relaxation and recovery centre, including a salt flotation pool, magnesium pool, relaxation pool, hot and cold plunge pools for contrast therapy, steam room and sauna (all accessible directly from the changing rooms)
- The introduction of a premium hair and beauty salon with a new nail lounge
- Expansion of the existing KX restaurant – set to double in size, featuring a larger, refined Club lounge connected to an elegant new dining space
Commenting on the expansion, KX CEO, Graziano Arricale, said: “We’re embarking on the most significant evolution of KX since its founding in 2002. The forthcoming work will be transformative for our London home and represents a significant investment in the future of the Club. The changes being made will transform our members’ experience whilst maintaining the exceptional standards they expect from KX.”
