The release of this stunning new gift box for one of Penfolds’ most critically acclaimed wines marks the beginning of the brand’s new creative partnership with the GRAMMY-nominated Australian singer, songwriter and actor. The multi-year collaboration will see Troye lead the brand into new creative territories, celebrating shared experience.
With a striking translucent red-and-white design aiming to evoke warmth and nostalgia, Bin 389 Designed by Troye Sivan includes a limited-edition 750ml gift box and a 1.5L magnum, both showcasing Penfolds Bin 389 from the 2023 vintage.
Each 750ml bottle is carefully hand wrapped in tissue paper printed with one of twenty photos selected from Troye’s personal camera roll – each image conveys a moment of inspiration and connection, designed to be collected and treasured.
The magnum edition, handcrafted by South Korean artist Rahee Yoon, is limited to just 20 pieces globally, making it an exceptionally rare collector’s item, available by expression of interest only through Penfolds.com.
In the UK, the 750ml Bin 389 Designed by Troye Sivan gift box has launched exclusively in Selfridges now, priced at £75.99. Inside the box is a bottle of Penfolds Bin 389 from the 2023 vintage – described as a “storming vintage” by leading Australian wine expert, Matthew Jukes, who also gave it a near perfect score and called it “fascinating, highly desirable, and delicious”.
This particular vintage of Bin 389 is expected to have an ageing potential of up to 25 years, making it a wonderful wine to gift for future special occasions, but is also drinking beautifully now, making it a stylish statement gift to enjoy at dinner parties.
