Spring Arrives at The Savoy

Seasonal Indulgences and Curated Traditions at London’s Original Luxury Hotel

As the season of renewal arrives in London, The Savoy’s springtime experiences invite guests to celebrate Easter, Mother’s Day and beyond with limited edition indulgences at Scoff, refined afternoon teas and handcrafted floral bouquets within one of the city’s most storied addresses.

Inviting guests to enjoy the hotel’s original seasonal creations at home, the new online Savoy Shop is now open, with a collection of products available for delivery or collection at the hotel.

Easter Traditions, Reimagined

From 23 March until Easter Sunday, guests will find the return of the Hot Cross Bun scone at Scoff, The Savoy’s dedicated scone shop. Reimagining the seasonal staple, a spiced scone base is infused with raisins and candied orange, with a zesty orange and mandarin compote centre, Tahitian vanilla Chantily cream, and a chocolate cross decoration. Priced at £8.50, scones are available at Scoff from 12.04 pm daily, with pre-order available at The Savoy Shop.

This year’s Savoy Easter Egg is a Dominican Republic dark-milk shell filled with delicious hazelnut, almond and vanilla crunch praline. Handcrafted from a recipe by the hotel’s Executive Pastry Chef, Nicolas Houchet, the Easter Egg is available from 25 March exclusively via online pre-order for collection at Scoff, priced at £60.

If the Easter Weekend calls for a London staycation, families can embark on a fun-filled egg hunt on Easter Sunday, with chocolate treats waiting to be discovered amidst the storied interior of the hotel.

New Season, New Menus

With the new season comes a freshly curated Afternoon Tea menu at Gallery, The Savoy’s signature dining destination where dishes are inspired by the history of dining at the hotel. The selection of sandwiches, scones and delicate sweets is rejuvenated for spring with seasonal British ingredients, priced from £90 per person. Gallery’s Twilight Tea menu keeps the tradition alive into the evening, with a lighter menu of sandwiches, savoury bites and signature Scoff scones available from 5.30-9.30 pm from £49 per person, including a Nyetimber cocktail on arrival.

A special High Tea menu is available for Mother’s Day, with an option to elevate the experience with a lobster and caviar tasting, and Velvet Scone rum-based cocktail (£50 supplement per person). To commemorate the occasion, a special gifted seed-growing kit will act as a memento of family time well spent.

Seasonal Blooms by The Florist at The Savoy

Belinda Bowles, Creative Floral Design Manager, has designed a collection of seasonal bouquets, ideal for Mother’s Day gifting or brightening up the home this spring. Pastel colour palettes incorporate tulips, scented freesia and roses, balanced by seasonal foliage. Available to order via The Savoy Shop or collect from The Florist at The Savoy, bouquets cost from £70.
