Beesou flies into The Nest at Treehouse Hotel London for World Bee Day

The B-Corp aperitif dedicated to saving the bees launches new cocktail menu throughout May

In celebration of World Bee Day, Beesou, the all-natural honey-wine based aperitif is set to launch a limited-edition cocktail menu at the spectacular rooftop bar, The Nest at Treehouse Hotel London this May. 

Arriving on Monday 1st May for one-month only, the low in alcohol (11% ABV) drink with a purpose has a distinct yellow colour made from natural safflower extract. Through this limited curated cocktail menu, diners will be transported to sunnier clime in the heart of London. 

Guests will be able to choose from four unique cocktails, where they will experience the natural bittersweet blend free from any artificial flavourings or colourings, all surrounded by spectacular 360-degree views and natural green foliage. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by wooden hanging bees adorning the entrance tunnel, with inviting Beesou yellow cushions & blankets and bee hotels nestled on the terrace providing a safe haven for solitary bees to sleep at night. 

Each vibrant and seasonal cocktail will reflect and take inspiration from British-inspired ingredients, where guests will be taken on a journey of the senses through each sip. Treehouse Hotel London’s Beverage Manager, Hugo Maclean, has worked with Beesou to create these special cocktails, which include:

  • Bee’groni with Prosecco in it – Beesou, Dry Vermouth, English Sparking Wine
  • New Bees with New Knees – Sapling Gin, Beesou, Lemon, Honey, Vegan Egg White and Salt
  • Make it Matcha – Sapling Vodka, Beesou, Matcha Tea, honey & lemon, egg white and soda water
  • Whiskey, Honey, Ginger – Jameson Whiskey, Beesou, Citrus Cordial and ginger ale

Dedicated to saving the bees, Beesou’s mission is to spread awareness around bee communities, with 10% of all profits going to Bees for Development charity of which Camilla, Queen Consort,is the first President. The charity aims to help individuals in under-developed regions of the world become more self-sufficient through beekeepingBeesou is the first B-Corp certified aperitif, with a purpose to responsibly source all ingredients, use sustainable plastic-free packaging (including eco-corks) and encourage best practice amongst beekeepers.  

The Nest are also committed to a more sustainable future, situated within the eco-conscious Treehouse Hotel London. At The Nest guests are offered a beautiful view of the London skyline, which provides the perfect backdrop to sample the experiential cocktails, all whilst helping raise awareness of the importance of bees with the first honey-kissed B-Corp aperitif.
