The seed for the brand was sewn many years ago. As a child, company founder Dhita Hadisubrata loved spending time outdoors, but unfortunately sunburn was a common occurrence. The challenge had been laid down! Later, after becoming involved in the glamour world as a model and TV host, she became aware of various skincare products and believed there was room for improvement.
Dhita began investigating sun protection and was inspired to create NENEQ Java Essentials Antioxidant Sunscreen, a non-sticky, organic sunscreen and anti-ageing solution that provides broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection. She assembled a team of elite industry professionals to create luxury skincare products, and it took seven years of trial and error to create the perfect sunscreen. The products are now available exclusively at selected destinations, including hotels, resorts, airlines, yachts and high-end shopping centres. Distribution encompasses Asia, America, Europe, and Middle East.

A dazzling partnership
Recently, NENEQ Java Essentials were announced as the Official Suncare Partner of the Singapore Yacht Show 2020. The event will be held at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove on the 15-18 October (see overleaf for more details). The Singapore Yacht Show attracts senior business figures and lifestyle professionals from around the world and offers exhibitors a world-class networking platform.
