Further headline highlights for 2024’s third edition of Salon Privé London are three special themed days focused on world-famous automotive icons. Here, guess can look forward to an unrivalled celebration of stunning cars. On Thursday, Salon Privé London is dedicated to Porsche Passion; it is the mighty McLaren on Friday, while Saturday is all about Supercar Stars. Each day promises plenty of excitement and entertainment on the lawns.
Salon Privé London opens this year with an exclusive media & VIP opening day. Event partners Porsche will host a special presentation to mark the 50th milestone anniversary of the legendary 911 Turbo. There will lots more partner brands revealing their latest cars to the press and VIPs – with some making their European and even global debuts live at the event.
Friday is Ladies’ Day, sponsored by luxury British jewellery brand Boodles. Here, visitors will be able to enjoy an undisputed day of glamour and elegance. The return of Ladies’ Day promises to be a chic occasion for the first event of the Season – an excuse to dress to the nines and take part in the Best Hat Competition. The motto is, the bolder the better, and guests be in for the chance to win dazzling Boodles jewellery, awarded for the most extravagant and head-turning headpiece of the day. Complementing this will be one of the biggest collections of McLaren supercars every witnessed in London.
The Supercar Saturday finale sees Salon Privé London partner with private members club SCC to put on a spectacular display of high-performance cars on the lawns. Saturday is all about fun for all the family, and an opportunity to see the latest supercars and hypercars up close – this is the day that car enthusiasts and petrolheads particularly love. Uncover an exciting line-up of never-before-seen cars, guests will also be able to talk to the people making the stories behind the models. High-end lifestyle lovers are not left out either, with the Luxury Shopping Village promenade presenting a specially curated selection of brands to appeal to premium tastes – there’s premium beauty, private aviation, homeware, fashion, accessories and more.
The core of the event is the Concours de Vente. Here, Salon Privé London takes the classic Concours D’Elegance – where it is strictly forbidden to enter a car that is ‘for sale’ – and turns it into a modern-day concept where guests are able to buy the exotica being showcased. A judged concours event, it has become the world’s first and only event where each car is exclusively for sale. This year, there will be a carefully-curated lawn of 75 rare and historic automobiles, being shipped from around the world to be on display at Salon Privé London.
