RÉMY MARTIN XO UNVEILS LIMITED-EDITION COLLECTION WITH CONTEMPORARY ARTIST ANISH KAPOOR

The House of Rémy Martin announces a limited-edition Rémy Martin XO decanter created with renowned contemporary artist Anish Kapoor and reveals his exclusive artwork ‘Mirroring Infinite Possibilities’ in celebration of this collaboration. The decanter and artwork represent a unique visionary and sensorial exploration of colour, form, and space, reflecting Kapoor’s signature style in response to the essence of Rémy Martin XO. This collaboration celebrates the shared pursuit of excellence, embodying Rémy Martin’s rich heritage and Kapoor’s groundbreaking artistic vision.
A LONG-LASTING CONNECTION WITH THE HOUSE OF RÉMY MARTIN
The proposition of an artistic collaboration around the Rémy Martin XO decanter immediately struck a personal chord with Anish Kapoor. “There was a sense from the beginning of this project with Rémy Martin that it refers to my history. My father used to drink it when I was a boy in India, and I carried that with me.” – says Anish Kapoor. A legacy that echoes with the House of Rémy Martin, born more than 300 years ago and whose savoir-faire and heritage have also been passed down from one generation to the next.

“Rémy Martin XO perfectly embodies the heritage and savoir-faire of the Maison. It is the ultimate expression of our terroir, offering an exceptionally smooth, full-bodied blend of eaux-de-vie from Grande and Petite Champagne that gradually releases a wealth of harmonious aromas. Its opulent radiance paired with the timeless design of its magnificent decanter has inspired Anish Kapoor, whose creation now becomes a part of our brand’s enduring legacy.” – shares Jean-Philippe Hecquet, CEO of the House of Rémy Martin.

About Rémy Martin XO
Rémy Martin XO is the signature of its Cellar Master. An opulent, radiant blend of eaux-de-vie sourced in Petite and Grande Champagne. Exceptionally smooth and full-bodied, it reveals its aromas progressively, starting with plum, mature fig and candied orange, opening on spicy notes with a hint of nutmeg and freshly crushed hazelnuts and finishing on gourmet notes of roasted cocoa beans, honey and ginger. It is the icon of Rémy Martin, the reference of the House, the cognac par excellence for excellent moments. https://www.remymartin.com/en-uk
About Anish Kapoor
Anish Kapoor is internationally recognised as one of today’s leading contemporary artists. Renowned for sculptures that are both adventures in form and engage public space, Kapoor maneuvers between vastly different scales, across numerous series of work. Immense PVC skins, flayed or inflated within architecture or landscape; paintings undulating with a viscerally abject physicality; mirrors which suck the viewer into their vertiginous aura and pigmented voids, carved into stone or within the ground beneath us that confound our perception – Kapoor’s work situates our inner world into the world around us, turned inside out, its inversions and protrusions summon up deep-felt metaphysical polarities of container and contained, being and non-being, that disrupt our quotidian reality.
