Neverland London

At the beginning of Wandsworth Bridge Road, London, you can find something quite unexpected.

A small entrance leading through a flowered tunnel to Fulham Beach Club, Neverland.

Emerging through the tunnel entrance, I’m greeted with a huge, bright wooden picnic tabled seating area with sand and wood chipped floor. The chilled tunes are banging.

I visit on a Sunday to take advantage of their ‘boozy brunch’ offer. This involves entrance, two hours worth of drinks and a £10 token towards one of their food stalls. There’s a choice of Jimmys BBQ pop up, serving barbecue cuisine, or the Pizza Shed serving authentic wood fired pizza. I go for the latter and the pizza was super delish.

The very colourful decor gives me lots of opportunity for cool photos, especially the pink flamingo wall!

Beyond the shaded seating area you come outside to the star attraction – real life sand and a totally authentic beach! There’s even pastel coloured beach huts.
The glamorous sun lounger day beds and plush seating areas gives the place such a vibe that you really do feel like you’re in a VIP beach bar somewhere in the Mediterranean.
The bar here is also in the beach so you don’t even have to move yourself more than a few steps for refreshment. I highly recommend the slushy cocktails to keep you happily cool.

Not just a party scene, Neverland also offers a range of fun activities including Saturday morning yoga on the beach, and a selection of games such as shuffle board, mini croquet and ping pong.

They also have an extensive events calendar jam packed with all the summer sports screenings including the World Cup games, Wimbledon Tennis final matches, plus a long list of beach party themed days available to book online.

This place is totally worth a visit for a dreamy, beachy, day out without the coastal bound traffic.
