Hilton Cabo Verde Sal Resort is on the island of Sal, one of the ten islands that make up the archipelago of Cape Verde, off the west coast of Africa. The resort is right on Sal’s most stunning beach and is within walking distance of the colourful town of Santa Maria and the local fishermen’s pier. The hotel’s U-shaped building embraces a stunning 1,200-sqm pool. During the day, you can laze on the beach, before settling down to lunch at The Bounty Beach Restaurant. While at sunset, the Cize Bar offers delicious cocktails and homemade burgers to the sounds of jazz and Cape Verdean music played by local musicians.

Kick back at the Eforea Spa and be pampered with the most luxurious massages and beauty treatments found anywhere in the islands. The spa has eight treatment rooms, two of which are designed for couples and feature a water circuit with hydro-pool, sauna, Turkish Bath, ice fountain and sensation showers. Should you wish to indulge even more, then you are invited to try the crystal bed, which purifies, detoxifies and rebalances. The Atlantic Star Nautical Centre offers a wide range water sports including kitesurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding and catamaran sailing. The 4km stretch of beautiful white sandy beach sets the scene for a watersport heaven, while the snorkelling and diving is out of this world.
