The Festival Hall Baden-Baden – Europe’s second largest opera and concert hall – offers international opera, ballet and concerts at the highest level. INTERNATIONAL HORSERACING COURSE BADEN-BADEN/IFFEZHEIM Racing fever in Iffezheim – exhilarating atmosphere, exciting thrills and intoxicating anticipation. There is no better way to describe a visit to the international horseracing track in Baden-Baden/Iffezheim. Guests can set their pulses racing at the international horse races three times a year, sharing their excitement in joyous expectation of winning with all the other racing enthusiasts.

Whitsun festival, 18 to 22 May, FESTIVAL HALL BADEN-BADEN
For the Whitsun Festival the Festival Hall Baden-Baden presents outstanding artists and concerts:
The Festival starts with Wagner’s “The Flying Dutchman” a concert version of the opera. The Budapest Festival Orchestra will present Mahler’s “Sinfonie Nr. 2” and Janine Jansen and the London Symphony Orchestra will perform Sibelius’s masterworks.

Philharmonic Castle Concerts, 8 and 9 June, NEUWEIER CASTLE
The Philharmonic Castle Concerts are held at the beautifully situated historic Neuweier Castle, surrounded by the vineyards of Baden-Baden’s Rebland. The Baden-Baden Philharmonic musicians will entertain you with their high-calibre classical music in the castle’s beautiful, romantic inner courtyard.

International Vintage Car Meeting, 13 to 15 July, KURGARDEN + LICHTENTALER ALLEE Every year, more than 350 classic cars of all brands transform Kurgarden and Lichtentaler Allee into an outdoor museum of automotive history. In the evening, nostalgic garden party with laser illumination, hot air balloons lighting up the night, jazz concerts, fashion shows and a whole lot more.

Summer Nights, 28 June 2018 to 1 July, 2018, in front of Kurhaus
The Baden-Baden Summer Nights invite you for the nicest open air party of the summer with culinary highlights and live music in front of the Kurhaus.

Philharmonic orchestra open-air concerts, End of May until Mid-August, various locations
The the summer weekend the Philharmonic orchestra Baden-Baden presents its musical work to all Baden-Baden visitors on the open-air stage in front of the Kurhaus. The concerts are free for everybody.

Long Night of Museums, 28 July, LICHTENTALER ALLEE
From 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., museums along the Museum Mile of Lichtentaler Allee – Museum Frieder Burda, “Staatliche Kunsthalle”, LA8 (museum of art and technology of the 19th century) and Baden-Baden Museum – offer free admission to the latest exhibitions, special tours, music and many other attractions for young and old.

Grand Prix Ball, 1 September, KURHAUS
The social event in association with the international horse races. Experience an elegant ball and the 2018 Galloper of the Year award ceremony in the glamorous Bénazet Hall of the famous Kurhaus Baden-Baden. Be a part of the action when Baden-Baden rolls out the red carpet for the international horse races, with figures from the worlds of horseracing, media, politics and business flocking to the town

SWR3 New Pop Festival, 13 to 15 September, various locations
On three days in September, Baden-Baden transforms into an outstanding festival location. Concerts with international musicians and bands take place in venues like the Kurhaus, the Theatre or the Festival Hall Baden-Baden. The concerts are broadcasted onto a large screen in front of the Kurhaus. The party venues in Baden-Baden will present the New Pop Party Nights with various mottos.
