ICONIC WATCH PRIZE
The Audemars Piguet teams are honoured to accept the Iconic Watch prize awarded by the GPHG jury to the Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar. Powered by the new Calibre 7138 – a horological achievement protected by five patents – this reference combines mechanical complexity with ultimate ergonomics. Thanks to its innovative all-in-one crown system, all adjustments can be made easily without additional tools or risk of damage. Building on the innovations of Calibre 5133, launched in 2018, this new movement integrates all perpetual calendar functions on a single level and automatically displays the correct date, even in leap years. The dial and counters have also been redesigned to enhance legibility, symmetry and visual harmony.
With a monochrome aesthetic, this 41 mm model features a case and bracelet in 18-carat sand gold, an alloy combining gold, copper and palladium. Oscillating between white and rose gold tones depending on the light, its warm appearance is accentuated by polished and satin-brushed bevels. The timepiece is completed by a sand gold Grande Tapisserie dial, counters and inner bezel, all achieved through galvanic treatment. White gold luminescent hands and indexes add a refined touch, while black printed calendar indications provide subtle contrast.
