SALON PRIVÉ 2025 CLOSES FOLLOWING LARGEST WEEKEND ATTENDANCE IN ITS 20 YEAR HISTORY
Event will return to Blenheim Palace 2nd – 6th September 2026

Record-breaking attendance figures marked the end of a triumphant week of celebrations at Blenheim Palace as Salon Privé, the UK’s most prestigious luxury automotive event, finally closed its doors.
The five-day event was officially opened by co-founders Andrew and David Bagley, on Wednesday 27th August, and kicked off with two global debuts from RML Group with the GTH and Thornley Kelham with their reimagined Jaguar XK European GT Roadster. The debuts took place in Salon Privé’s new Automotive Gallery – the spectacular centrepiece of the anniversary show. Made of 1,206panes of glass, the structure covered an area of 4,460 square metres within the South Lawn of Blenheim Palace and housed 44 of the world’s most magnificent cars.
Now, following a sell-out event, organisers have confirmed that the summer social staple will return to Blenheim from Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 6th September 2025, for its 21st edition.

Andrew Bagley, Chairman and co-founder of Salon Privé, said: “This year we promised to deliver an event unlike any other and we absolutely did just that and more. The Automotive Gallery was something the events’ world has never seen before and offered a befitting home for so many stunning cars on show. The buzz throughout the whole week was the best we’ve ever experienced, and the overall footfall broke all records, as we welcomed over 28,000 visitors in total.
“We’re delighted to confirm our 2026 dates already, since we know many guests and enthusiasts will want to mark it in their diaries and book ahead to secure their attendance.”
At the beginning of the week, Best of Show at the Salon Privé Concours by Aviva Private Clients was scooped by The Auriga Collection’s 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Spezial Roadster by Sindelfingen. Fending off competition from 60 cars, from 13 countries, the car is one of only 12 examples ever built and remains one of the most desirable and valuable classic cars, embodying Mercedes-Benz’s legacy of innovation, craftsmanship and timeless beauty.
Following two days of judging, Andrew Bagley, said: “The quality and diversity of this year’s Concours entries was truly world-class, with cars arriving from across Europe, the United States and beyond. Every single vehicle on the lawn represented the pinnacle of its era, and the judges faced an incredibly difficult task in deciding the winners for each class. The Mercedes-Benz is simply unparalleled for its rarity, concours provenance and sheer beauty, which made it an absolute deserving winner for Best of Show.”

A highlight of Salon Privé’s weekend programme was the esteemed Concours de Vente, which featured classic cars entered by some of the UK’s most reputable restorers and specialists, all of which were for sale. Judged by a team which included celebrity motoring icon Richard Hammond, Eric Broutin’s remarkable De Tomaso Pantera Group 4 was selected as the winner of the Prix d’Honneur.
Saturday’s Salon Privé Club Trophy by Lockton was awarded to a 1933 Invicta S Type owned by Nicholas Williams and known as ‘The Shuttler’, after John Shuttler who formerly owned and raced the car. The car was shown by the Invicta Car Club, who attended Salon Privé in celebration of the marque’s centenary.
The Multi-Marque Lifestyle Club Trophy award went to Don Gibson of Drivers Union for his 2005 TVR Sagaris in Spectra Flair Black, while the Single-Marque Club prize was awarded to Darren Green of the XJS Club for his 1991 XJS Coupe in Flamenco Red, which has undergone a nut and bolt restoration by the owner.
