One of the World’s Best Outdoor Cinemas

This September, Ibiza’s most iconic beach restaurant, Amante Ibiza transforms into an atmospheric open-air cinema under the stars. Idyllically situated on a dramatic cliff overlooking the breath-taking Sol D’en Serra Bay on Ibiza’s untouched north-eastern coast, Amante offers an unparalleled setting that exudes a relaxed, barefoot ambience, with exceptional attention to detail and quality of food. Offering “pinch-me” moments, with a setting so magical, one would be forgiven for thinking they’re starring in a movie themselves.

Amante Ibiza’s moonlit movie nights offer an intimate, atmospheric setting for enjoying Hollywood classics and contemporary favourites in the ocean air. As the evening breeze drifts in, guests settle into full-length beanbags beneath cosy blankets, with the floodlit cliffs, star-filled sky, and gentle rhythm of lapping waves creating a cinematic backdrop of their own. Screenings such as Lost in TranslationDirty Rotten Scoundrels, and The Florida Project are accompanied by a glass of Codorníu cava and unlimited freshly popped popcorn, making each night as indulgent as it is unforgettable.

Lost in Translation – 2nd September

Lost in Translation is a quietly beautiful love story that follows a faded movie star and a young woman who cross paths in Tokyo. Both feeling out of place, they find comfort in each other’s company as they explore the city’s neon streets, quiet corners, and sleepless nights. What begins as a chance meeting turns into a surprising bond that lingers long after their time together ends.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels – 9th September

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a classic comedy that follows two rival con men, played by Steve Martin and Michael Caine, as they clash over the same turf on the glamorous French Riviera. When a high-stakes bet puts their skills to the test, the result is a fast-paced game of tricks, twists, and outrageous schemes.

The Florida Project – 16th September

This moving coming-of-age story follows six-year-old Moonee and her young mother, Halley, as they make a life in a budget motel just outside Disney World. Seen through Moonee’s eyes, days are filled with adventure and mischief, even as the realities of their situation begin to close in – a heartfelt portrait of childhood innocence in the shadow of hardship.

Offering an escape from the crowds, with friendly service and a laid back but trendy atmosphere, Amante’s  top-quality dishes are made with produce sourced from its very own organic garden, serving modern Mediterranean food to be enjoyed alongside or before a film. Contemporary Spanish and Italian dishes are complemented by simple fresh fish and meat cooked in the Josper oven, with deserts that bring back customers year after year. Amante offers a variety of exquisite dishes, including chargrilled octopus, seabass filleted tableside, and prawn risotto finished with smoked burrata, lemon zest, and a hint of anchovy — all best savoured with a signature cocktail as the sun sets over another perfect day in the Mediterranean.
