RICHARD HAMMOND ANNOUNCED AS JUDGE OF 20TH ANNIVERSARY CONCOURS DE VENTE AT SALON PRIVÉ
Former Top Gear host will also judge the Lifestyle Club Trophy on Sunday 31st August
Salon Privé has announced that British motoring icon Richard Hammond will judge the esteemed Concours de Vente at its 20th anniversary event this summer. Taking place during the brand-new Salon Privé Supercar Sunday & Lifestyle Club Trophy Day on Bank Holiday Sunday 31st August, Hammond, best known as a former presenter of Top Gear and The Grand Tour, will also award the Lifestyle Club Trophy, bringing a spectacular close to the five-day anniversary event at Blenheim Palace.
Taking place at Blenheim for the first time, the Salon Privé Concours de Vente will present a curated selection of cars for sale from the UK’s leading restorers and specialists. Richard will be joined by a panel of professional judges who will select their winning car and award the Prix d’Honneur trophy during the finale awards parade on Sunday. Supercar Sunday is a new addition to the Salon Privé experience for 2025, that will bring together the UK’s most distinguished multi-marque Supercar and Lifestyle clubs, alongside elite single-marque enthusiast groups. These curated collections will grace the North and South Lawns of Blenheim in a display of automotive splendour.
A renowned automotive personality, Richard Hammond will play a key role throughout the Sunday, bringing his expertise and presence to the event. As well as judging, his digital platform DriveTribe will be on-site in the Paddock, capturing exclusive behind-the-scenes content and engaging with guests. Richard will also be showcasing his brand-new spirits Ratio Gin and Iron Ridge Whisky during the day, giving guests a first taste of his new passion project.

Clubs confirmed to be in attendance on Sunday 31st include Automotive Utopia, Driven+, SCC Private Members Club, Supercar Club Wales and Women in Wheels. And it’s not just clubs who can attend and display their car in front of the likes of Richard Hammond, as the event is open to anyone who owns a prestige and unmodified classic, sports, super or hypercar. David Bagley, co-founder of Salon Privé, added: “Owners can experience a real bucket list moment by driving into the Palace grounds and parking on the lawns of Blenheim during Supercar Sunday.
