3 fantastic locations featured in our Summer edition

Summer is upon us! And with record highs in temperature around the globe, people are jetting off to their dream destinations as we speak. But for those who are not quite sure where they should head off to, we’ve listed 3 of some of the best locations we explore in our Summer edition of The Luxury Report.

Cologne

The Hohenzollern Bridge and Cologne Cathedral

Our journalist Liam Murphy had a fantastic time exploring the city that sits on the Rhine. Bustling with life and culture, there is an extraordinary amount to see and do them.

You can climb the third tallest twin-spired church in the world, the gothic, breathtaking Cologne Cathedral. You can visit the Cologne Chocolate Museum and see exactly how everyones favourite cocoa-based treat is made, you can even freshen up in the The Farina Fragrance Museum, shrine to the world-famous Eau de Cologne.

With all this to offer and much much more, it’s no wonder people are flocking to this German city.

Fogo Island Inn

The Fogo Island Inn prides itself on its modern design

For those adventurers looking for something a little different, the Fogo Island Inn in Newfoundland provides a getaway with a difference.

Rustic, homemade boil-ups, singalongs of old, Celtic songs, and the chance for an exclusive marine encounter. This holiday will make for unforgettable experiences, and irresistible relaxation in a hotel that completely embodies modernity and the uncommon.

Vale de Moses

The beautiful mountainside is your muse at Vale de Moses

Deep in the Portuguese mountainside, two hospitable partners teach the ancient art of yoga whilst treating their guests to an array of beautifully cooked, plant-based feasts.

Andrew and Vonetta Winter took a remote abandoned farm and have transformed it into a haven or spiritual enlightenment and wellbeing. Their team of yoga specialists and expert cooks cater to every need, and the location is among the most peaceful and tranquil you could hope to find.

Well, you can’t achieve inner peace on an empty stomach can you?
