The hotel is located at the foot of the slopes and lifts and is a great place for both winter and summer holidays. It has 63 rooms including 48 rooms for between two to six people, all decorated with light wood and designed with attention to detail. All rooms include a TV, Wi-Fi access, deep pillows and comfortable duvets, providing all the rest needed for an unforgettable holiday.
In 2015, seven new ‘Family Suites’ were created – which are now available – with capacity for between four to seven people, ranging from 45–130m2 in size. These suites include harmonious interior styles and colours, decorative designer objects and stunning wallpapers, all combined to create a unique, elegant ambience. Additionally, every suite comes with a tray of complimentary refreshments, a Nespresso coffee maker and a small fridge.
For even more choice and modernity, there is the sister hotel ‘la Tapiaz’ which opened its doors in 2012. Located above the spa and pool, it includes eight rooms with capacity for between two to six guests and designed in a chic, sophisticated alpine style with plenty of attention to detail.
After an active day on the mountain, guests can enjoy Hotel Marmotte’s spa, which features a luxurious indoor pool, steam room, multi-sensory shower, Kneipp foot bath and Hammam sauna and Jacuzzi, where guests can relax and revive aching muscles. The treatment area features ten treatment rooms as well as a herbal infusion room, creating a warm and cosy ambience, with expert cutting-edge treatments.
All tastes catered for
Hotel Marmotte offers guests plenty of dining options with not one but three restaurants to choose from. Classic French and international cuisine come with a modern twist at ‘La Piste Noire’, while traditional Savoyard specialities are served at ‘La Pivotte’. If that doesn’t suit, guests can head over to the brasserie grill restaurant, ‘La Biskatcha’ which is also open in summer.
Children are welcome at the hotel and for those parents looking to take some much-needed time out, babysitting is also available upon request. There is a recreation room for young children with early learning games and books. For the older children, there is a games room with table football, table tennis, and arcade games. Cots, baby monitors, baby bathtubs and high chairs are also available upon request. There is free access to a microwave to heat up feeding bottles or baby food at any time. During the dinner service, the children’s section of the restaurant opens from 7.15pm every day, where they will be supervised, ensuring parents can relax and enjoy the fine food in peace.
