Each bottle of Clase Azul tequila is touched by the spirit of those who make it. The care and dedication of the craftspeople producing Clase Azul starts in the agave fields and continues right through to the bottling process, where each bottle is hand created by Mexican artisans. No two bottles are alike, each is a unique piece of art.
The tequilas are produced exclusively in Mexico in a local bottling facility using local ingredients and materials. The company
is driven by traditional family values and produces all of its products in a small village that continues to thrive through its association.
The products used throughout the process are 100% authentic from the tequila to the bottles.
All Clase Azul tequilas are produced from organic agaves that are grown to maturity for at least nine years before careful harvesting takes place. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours and then fermented using a proprietary yeast strain which enhances the complex characteristics of the tequila. Amazing balance, body and fl avour arise from the aging process in sherry oak barrels.
The state-of-the-art bottling facility honours traditional tequila production requirements. Because it will not compromise the craft, each bottle of Clase Azul takes approximately two weeks to complete. The use of top quality materials, including Talavera ceramic, nontoxic paints and handmade brushes are all a top priority during the process.
All Clase Azul tequilas have been richly praised in their categories and have become a global reference point for premium tequilas. Receiving the highest level of industry recognition they are also globally renowned for the beauty of the bottles and the commitment to strong social and environmental principles.
From the light touch of La Plata to the character of the Ultra One and extending through Reposado and Añejo, Clase Azul tequilas are truly unforgettable.
